Jane Patrick 摇摇头。”I can't go back to the US for now.

“How long it takes?”(那需要多久?)

“I think maybe 3 months or it can be……1 year. I'm not so sure too. But don't worry, I can manage.”(我想可能三个月,或者也可能……

“Any chance you will stay here longer than that? I remember you have a company here. C'mon you flew back and forth between US-Thailand like a fly.”(有可能你在这里待更久吗?

Jane Patrick

“I really don't know. But yes, it can be.”(我真的不知道。

“Any chance you will stay here forever?”(有可能你永远留在这里吗?)

“It might be. Why? Don't say you will miss me that's fucking creepy.”(也许吧。

“Rose, do you mind take Jamie to his room?”(Rose,麻烦你带 Jamie 去他的房间好吗?)

“Yes, sir. Jamie come with me. Let's go play inside your room dear.”(好的,先生。

“What is it dad?

“I want you to take care of Jamie.”(我希望你照顾 Jamie。)

“I think I don't understand.”(我想我没明白。)

Chuck Terry

“I want Jamie to stay here with you, in Thailand.”(我希望 Jamie 留在这里,在泰国,和你一起。)

“What!?”(什么!?)

“Yes, I mean it. JP, look at me, I'm 62. I should retire and relax at the beach with some nice sexy girl.”(是的,我是认真的。

“……” Jane Patrick

“I love Jamie, and you know that. But I'm too old to raise or teach him anything. I'm like a computer that didn't get upgrade. JP, you are younger. You've been through the world a lot. And you are so smart.”(我爱 Jamie,这你知道。

“……”

“I know you can do it.”(我知道你能做到。)

“……”

“Don't worry I will give as much money as you need to raise Jamie.

“Money is not a problem.”(钱不是问题。)

“So you don't have any problem raising Jamie.”(所以你对抚养 Jamie 没有任何问题。)

“……didn't say that.”(我……

“The point is that I don't want Jamie to stay in the environment I can't confide. You know that bullshit rich kids society you grew up. It makes boys go wrong and can be good-for-nothing. I'm really too old for Jamie, I'm like his grandpa more than father.”(关键是我不想让 Jamie 待在一个我无法放心的环境里。
